Sometimes asked by pupils & colleagues to name specific extraordinary musicians, I'm usually reluctant. There are so many. Any list would grow. Educators such as Arnold Schoenberg, composers from Bach (& before) through Berlioz & Howard Skempton to Björk (& beyond) would make a long list before starting on these - a few of the guitar-related musicians I admire most & recommend as worthy of listening & studying:
